To support the company's continued growth, Francois van der Ree has been appointed as Sales Director for the Americas, and Donna Butler joins as Area Sales Manager for North America.

Francois van der Ree brings extensive experience in sales and strategic business management, with a background in banking and industrial machinery. Known for his analytical mindset and hands-on approach, he is dedicated to fostering strong partnerships and driving continuous improvement. While new to the confectionery industry, his expertise in navigating complex markets and identifying growth opportunities makes him a valuable addition to the Tanis team.
Donna Butler is a seasoned sales and business development executive with a strong background in the food, beverage and confectionery manufacturing industry. She has a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic planning, relationship management, and operational improvements. Her experience with leading brands, combined with her international expertise and multilingual skills, will further enhance Tanis' presence in North America.
Together with other Tanis Experts, Francois and Donna recently attended ProSweets and ISM Cologne, where they engaged with industry professionals, explored emerging market trends, and gained deeper insights into the evolving needs of candy manufacturers. The event provided an excellent opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing, reinforcing Tanis' role as an industry leader in confectionery production solutions.
At ProSweets, Tanis highlighted key industry developments, including the increasing demand for center-in-shell gummies and 3D shapes. Also, the rise of freeze-dried confections is unstoppable.
